Remind App for Communications
Parents are an important part of our VLC program. We want to make sure you are kept in the loop with important information that applies to your child's education.
Student Services has a Remind account for parents to join to get reminders about: registration, course start dates, upcoming school events, graduation, and post-secondary application information.
What is Remind? Remind is a free text messaging app that helps teachers, students, and parents communicate quickly and efficiently. For more information, please visit: https://www.remind.com/trust-safety
Full details will always be posted on our main website but the Remind service is a great way to receive messages about upcoming events right on your own personal communication device.
Signing up is easy!
To join our Student Services Remind class, you’ll need our class code: @vlcparents
Once you have a class code, there are three ways to join the class:
1) Sign up for text notifications by texting @vlcparents to 81010.
2) Go to www.remind.com/join/vlcparents and follow the directions.
3) Download the Remind app from the App Store or Google Play, sign up for an account with your email address, and enter the class code when prompted.

(Some VLC teachers and teachers in other schools are already using Remind. If you already have a remind account for this reason, you simply need to add the class code to your account.)
